Please join us as we celebrate the achievement of six students whose projects from the 2021 NEOSEF (North East Ohio Science and Engineering Fair) were selected as best embodying the skills related to the technologies within the IEEE.
The topics of the six selected projects were:
| + Identifying Space debris from real satellites using an AI based vision system and RF signal detection |
| + Eddy Current Braking System |
| + A Low-power, wide-range Emergency Radio (LoWER) Communication System for use in natural disasters |
| + Can Different Types of Mud Produce Electricity |
| + Smart Robotic Arm for Manipulation – A force-sensitive robotic arm that utilizes AI based vision system to grasp objects intelligently |
| + Fruit Dye and Sunscreen to Solar Power: Creating and Testing Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide Solar Cells |
The selected winners received a certificate, a plaque, some money for pizza and an invitation to describe their project at this party.
